Homesick House narrates the tale of a city street that wishes to leave the city behind. One day, the houses literally gather their belongings and set off in a caravan to discover the world. During their adventure, each house finds its ideal match in an animal and invites it to live with them. With each stop, the caravan becomes smaller, until just the original house is left. This last house, after witnessing the entire world, comes to recognize and cherish the special qualities of its city home.
